We selected and cultivated four rows of our best vineyards at the Los Amigos Ranch, in the Chalk Hill appellation, in Healdsburg. We concentrated on Bordeaux varietals, with an eye toward one of our personal favorite wines, Cabernet Franc.
Our Cabernet Franc is grown in the Chalk Hill sub-appellation of the Russian River Valley. Located on the Los Amigos Ranch just south of Healdsburg, these grapes are exposed to warmer days and cool wind-blown nights.
After a couple of difficult harvests, relief and excitement filled the fall of 2012. A gradual heat progression through the growing season, combined with an above average yield allowed the fruit to ripen slowly, ensuring maximum flavor development.
Grown in the northeast section of the Russian River Valley, this Cabernet Sauvignon is located in the sub-appellation of Chalk Hill.
At our Los Amigos Ranch, just South of Healdsburg, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Sangiovese develop deep, bold flavors.
