Fragrant spices integrate evenly with red currants, vanilla and a hint of dried tobacco. Even bodied throughout, showing a complex fusion of wild berries, ripe cherry and light sage, lending itself to a smooth, lingering finish of light olive and anise.
We use old world techniques, whole berries, and whole clusters to make our Pinot Noir in small batches that we "punch-down" up to three times a day. The wine is aged in French oak barrels for 10 months to achieve optimum balance and complexity.
Deep red color complimenting an expressive nose of dried strawberry, almond oil, and light thyme and sage. The rich fruit driven palate is balanced from start to finish with notes of sweet cherry, integrated clove, black licorice and white pepper.
